I only have 2.25 mls in my band and have eaten about as much as I have PB'ed...if with friends I am sure they would notice the very small amount of food I can eat. From experience you do not want to be too tight. Take it easy and have a great weekendGirl Bandithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10334455002394539268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100636923484642954.post-51288351387184052312010-02-25T21:41:04.377-05:002010-02-25T21:41:04.377-05:00Thanks Sandy. I guess the best way to think about it is this isn't a quick way to weight loss like the gastric bypass, however, it might be more longer lasting if it is used the right way. I know if you go through the surgery you feel like you should see results immediately. However, in keeping the mindset that its a journey (and a long one for some), there is light at the end of the tunnel!Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06116482163287664390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100636923484642954.post-5472018545065398792010-02-25T20:35:52.892-05:002010-02-25T20:35:52.892-05:00Thank you for sharing this great info!Thank you for sharing this great info!Jacquiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03612121609893900847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100636923484642954.post-2158753564111195792010-02-25T20:34:33.574-05:002010-02-25T20:34:33.574-05:00Perfect advice and the same as my doc told us exac...Perfect advice and the same as my doc told us exactly! I hadn't heard about the total unfill to get the pouch to go back to normal - but its a good thing they have something up their sleeve in case the worst should happen.
I'm a big believer in the 'less is more' scenario. When I was starting out I found quite a few girls in the US were given aggressive fills - then within a few days couldn't eat at all - it was so distressing to read what they were going through. It must be painful to have to self-pay, but really, try to go easy especially first first up because you are so new and you don't want to shock your body with too much too soon when you are still learning to eat in a new way.
Have a lovely Friday.
Cara xxTHE DASH!https://www.blogger.com/profile/08658679261310931377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100636923484642954.post-40476219628254132312010-02-25T17:34:12.861-05:002010-02-25T17:34:12.861-05:00That is a fabulous response from your NP. It is an effort for me to walk away after having my little tiny portion of food. Every. Single. Time. But I'm doing it, and honestly, the band IS definitely working in that I don't feel hungry after my little meals. In fact, I am debating cancelling my third fill...I will have to see how the week plays out.

Have a wonderful weekend visiting.Gillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06422010996986937582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1100636923484642954.post-20431344339944394842010-02-25T16:48:29.251-05:002010-02-25T16:48:29.251-05:00Have Fun!!!Have Fun!!!TJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18274989438466842161noreply@blogger.com
